Edition 2025 — Leggo per legittima difesa

In 2025, Leggo per legittima difesa continued its summer journey through the villages of the L'Aquila area, confirming Pettorano sul Gizio and the Castello Cantelmo as the main hub of the festival, with book presentations, guided tours, and musical events with free admission. The project, born in 2020 from the Terza Pagina Association, has alternated between summer and winter editions over the years, establishing itself as one of the key cultural events in the Peligna Valley.

2025 Edition

The summer of 2025 marked a new stage in the journey of Leggo per legittima difesa, the travelling festival promoted by the Terza Pagina Cultural Association under the artistic direction of Chiara Buccini. In 2025, the festival once again involved the villages of the Peligna Valley and the L'Aquila region, with Pettorano sul Gizio and its Castello Cantelmo as a reference point, offering a calendar of author meetings, workshops, and musical moments with free admission. The edition helped prepare for the milestone of the tenth anniversary, reached in 2026, and strengthened the bond between reading, culture, and the mountain communities of inland Abruzzo.
