Legendary Climbs in the Monviso Lands – Pian del Re Stage

The fourth edition of the Legendary Climbs in the Monviso Lands took place in the summer of 2025, with the Pian del Re stage scheduled for Monday, July 7, 2025, starting from Crissolo in the Po Valley. The climb was part of the cycling week from July 4 to 10, alongside passes such as the Agnello Pass, Montoso and Rucas, the Sampeyre Pass, Montemale di Cuneo, and the Fauniera Pass.

The 2025 edition recorded over 2,100 cyclists in the Monviso Lands, confirming the growing appreciation for this free event that closes Alpine roads to motorized traffic. A significant novelty of this edition was the rescheduling of the single date for the Fauniera Pass to late August, to avoid the presence of snow at high altitudes.
