Legendary Climbs in the Monviso Lands – Montemale Stage

The fourth edition of the Legendary Climbs in the Monviso Lands took place in the summer of 2025, with the Montemale di Cuneo climb included in the program of the July cycling week. The Grana Valley climb, approximately 3.5 kilometers long with 320 meters of elevation gain, was tackled on a road closed to traffic, alongside other famous passes such as the Agnello Pass, the Sampeyre Pass, and the Fauniera Pass.

The first four editions of the event have gathered a total of over 14,000 cyclists in the Monviso Lands, confirming the growing appreciation for this free celebration of cycle tourism, which closes the alpine roads of the Cuneo area to motorized traffic and enhances the territory of the Province of Cuneo.
