Legendary Climbs in the Monviso Lands – Colle di Sampeyre Stage

The fourth edition of the Legendary Climbs in the Monviso Lands brought cyclists to Colle di Sampeyre on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, with the road closed to motorized traffic. The pass, at 2,284 meters, was accessible from the Maira and Varaita valley sides, in the municipality of Sampeyre, in the Province of Cuneo.

The stage was part of the cycling week from July 4 to 10, 2025, alongside climbs to famous passes such as Colle dell'Agnello, Montoso and Rucas, Pian del Re, Montemale di Cuneo, and Colle Fauniera. The 2025 edition confirmed the great success of the free cycle-touring initiative of the Monviso Lands, which has attracted over 14,000 cyclists in its first four editions.
