2025 Edition: The memory of the Resistance
On September 6, 2025, Lettomanoppello (PE) hosted the third edition of the Quintino Readers' Festival, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Liberation. Contestants from the six age categories interpreted excerpts from great literature about the Resistance, including The Path to the Spiders' Nests, Agnes Goes to Die, Bube's Girl, A Private Affair, and Johnny the Partisan.
In addition to the competition, the day offered theatrical performances, concerts, literary presentations, and folkloric entertainment with chalk artists, jugglers, and flag-wavers, under the patronage of the Center for Books and Reading and with the participation of guests from the cultural world. A well-attended edition that confirmed Lettomanoppello as a small Abruzzo capital of reading.
