Le Tentavecchie 2025

The 2025 edition followed the traditional calendar: three consecutive nights, from January 3rd to 5th, with processions starting at 9:00 PM from Piazza Vittorio Emanuele and the noise gradually spreading to all the alleys of Gradoli, in the province of Viterbo. Children, teenagers, and adults paraded armed with lids, pots, ladles, trumpets, and cowbells to wake up the Befana, welcomed along the way by locals with a glass of Aleatico and traditional sweets.

On Sunday, January 5th, 2025, the final evening featured the Ceniamo insieme event at 7:30 PM, with polenta and pork spare ribs in the Pranzo del Purgatorio pavilion, and at 10:00 PM, the spectacular descent of the Befana from Palazzo Farnese, made possible in total safety by the Gruppo Grotte Pipistrelli Terni, speleologists associated with the CAI. The event was organized by the Pro Loco Gradoli APS with the patronage of the Municipality, the Lazio Region, the Province of Viterbo, and Arsial.

For the 2025 edition, the UNPLI awarded the event the national Quality Event seal, the only recognition of its kind for the Lazio region along with the Anguillara Fish Festival.
