Le Parole della Montagna Festival – Arquata del Tronto Stop

The 2025 edition, the sixteenth, chose "Precipice" as its guiding word: according to artistic director Simonetta Paradisi, an opportunity to explore how the uncertainties of the present can transform into creative opportunities. The festival was divided into four parts — Monteleone di Fermo, Monte San Martino, the Sibillini Mountains, and Smerillo — with 34 events including conferences, readings, concerts, screenings, excursions, and moments of spirituality.

Among the guests at the heart of the festival in Smerillo were: writer Daniele Mencarelli, philosophers Andrea Colamedici and Maura Gancitano, philosopher and communicator Cesare Catà, mountaineer Matteo Della Bordella, poets Davide Rondoni and Nicola Bultrini, Don Marco Pozza, rector of the University of Camerino John McCourt, as well as concerts by Banda Gaber and Teho Teardo, and a comedy show by Pieromassimo Macchini.
