Le Notti della Contea 2025 - 10th Edition
From August 1 to 3, 2025, the ancient village of Conversano hosted the tenth edition of Le Notti della Contea, dedicated to the theme «Faith and Heresy». The well-known television personality Jimmy Ghione took on the role of Count Giangirolamo II Acquaviva d'Aragona.
The evenings took place between Piazza Castello, the Aragonese Castle, the Giannetta Balcony, and the alleys of the Ancient Village, featuring roving re-enactments, medieval taverns, the characteristic currency exchange into Ducato Apuliense, and the «Contesa delle Contrade» (Contest of the Districts) dedicated to children. On Sunday, the grand Multi-Era Historical Pageant took place, with about 400 re-enactors along a 3-kilometer route. The artistic direction was curated by Core Live Show, with the organization of the SensAzioni del Sud association and the Gruppo Storico Città di Conversano.
