Edition 2025 — Le erbe di Bellino

In 2025, the Monviso Park once again enlivened the upper Valle Varaita with a rich program of nature hikes dedicated to discovering wild mountain flora. The guided outings in Bellino and its surroundings, led by experts from the Itur cooperative, offered the public easy walks blending botany, Occitan traditions, and high-altitude landscapes in the Province of Cuneo.

2025 Edition

Throughout 2025, the Monviso Park, in collaboration with the Itur cooperative, offered a calendar of nature hikes in the upper Valle Varaita dedicated to wild herbs and the biodiversity of the Bellino territory, in the Province of Cuneo.

The guided walks, accessible to an adult audience, allowed participants to identify the main plant species of the Piedmontese mountains and learn about their traditional uses in cooking and folk medicine, in one of the best-preserved valleys of the Occitan valleys of Piedmont. A slow tourism experience that confirmed the success of the nature education initiatives of the Monviso protected area.
