Edition 2025 — Le Cantine del Borgo

The twelfth edition of Le Cantine del Borgo - Novello Wine Festival took place on Saturday, November 15th, and Sunday, November 16th, 2025, in the historic center of Strangolagalli, with the main entrance at Piazza Elena.

On Saturday, November 15th, and Sunday, November 16th, 2025, Strangolagalli hosted the 12th edition of Le Cantine del Borgo, the novello wine festival organized by the «Le Cantine del Borgo» Cultural Association with the patronage of the Municipality and the Lazio Region. The historic cellars of the old town opened their doors from late Saturday afternoon and from lunchtime on Sunday, serving novello wine and traditional Ciociarian dishes.

As per tradition, the alleys of the medieval village were enlivened by folk music and dance, performances by street artists, art exhibitions, and a local artisan market, with an area dedicated to children and a free shuttle service to reach the historic center. The event, which took place a few days after St. Martin's Day, confirmed its status as one of the most popular autumn food and wine events in the province of Frosinone.

Programme

Saturday, November 15, 2025: opening of cellars from late afternoon (from 5-6 PM), with tastings of novello wine and typical products, folk music and dance along the streets of the old town. Sunday, November 16, 2025: opening from 11 AM, with tastings throughout the day, street performers, art exhibitions, and an artisan market. Main entrance from Piazza Elena.
