Latzfonser Almabtrieb and Folk Festival

In 2025, the Latzfonser Almabtrieb mit Volksfest was held over two days, Saturday, September 13, and Sunday, September 14, on the Dorfplatz of Latzfons, a hamlet of Chiusa (Province of Bolzano).

On Saturday, the festival opened in the late afternoon with a demonstration by the Latzfons volunteer firefighters and musical entertainment by the Lutz trio, continuing into the evening with a "blue light party". Sunday marked the highlight of the event: after the morning Frühschoppen with the Kühberg 4 group, the adorned cows paraded through the village to the festival grounds at 2:00 PM, accompanied by the Musikkapelle Latzfons and Schuhplattler groups. At 4:00 PM, the Tiroling Stones performed. Throughout the day, stalls offered Krapfen, Strauben, spit-roasted chicken, sausages, and burgers.
