Edition 2025 — Chestnut Festival
39th Edition, 2025
The 2025 Latera Chestnut Festival opened on Saturday, October 18, with a workshop at the Museum of the Earth and, from 4 PM, the lighting of the roasted chestnut stalls in Piazza 4 Novembre. The day continued with a concert by the Gran Duo Merveille in Piazza San Clemente, live music by the Sbronzi di Riace, an outdoor dinner by reservation, and an evening comedy show.
On Sunday, October 19, the festival continued with an outdoor lunch, afternoon roasted chestnuts, and a book presentation at the Museum of the Earth. The second weekend featured a trekking excursion in the chestnut groves on Saturday the 25th, the usual gastronomic offerings, and an evening comedy show; on Sunday the 26th, the 22nd Maratonina del Marrone took place starting at 10 AM, followed by an outdoor lunch and afternoon musical entertainment.
In 2025, access to the village and public events remained free, with tastings and dinners available for purchase at individual stalls.
