Edition 2025 — Lantern Festival

The 2025 edition of the Lantern Festival took place on August 17 on the shores of Lake Smeraldo in Fondo, Borgo d'Anaunia. The second edition of the event organized by Pro Loco Fondo featured a lantern workshop for children, an aperitivo with local products and live music, and the release of floating lanterns on the lake at dusk.

The 2025 Lantern Festival, the second edition of the event, was held on Sunday, August 17 at Lake Smeraldo in Fondo, in the municipality of Borgo d'Anaunia. The day began in the afternoon with the floating lantern workshop for children, continued from 6:00 PM with an aperitivo featuring typical local products and live music, and culminated at sunset with the lighting and release of biodegradable lanterns onto the lake waters. As per the Pro Loco Fondo tradition, all lanterns were retrieved at the end of the evening to respect the Lake Smeraldo environment.
