Remembering Milani in the 2025 sports September

The 2025 edition of the day in memory of Lamberto Milani took place on Sunday, September 21, at the municipal sports center on Via Le Prate, the Sermoneta facility named after the champion. The heart of the event was the 39th edition of the Madonna della Vittoria Trophy, organized by ASD Atletica Sermoneta: 10 kilometers entirely flat over two laps between the hamlets of Monticchio and Pontenuovo, with a start at 9:00 AM and serving as the opening race of the UISP Grande Slam of Latina circuit.

The event offered runners refreshments along the route, a race pack for the first 250 registered participants, a final pasta party, and award ceremonies, while the afternoon reserved space for younger participants with sprints, hurdles, and athletic games. A celebration of popular sport in the spirit of the "Abebe Bikila of Sermoneta," in the province of Latina.
