Lake Maggiore Choral Festival and National Polyphonic Competition

In 2025, the event organized by the Associazione Cori Piemontesi took place over the weekends of October 4-5 and 11-12. The 6th Lake Maggiore Choral Festival featured opening concerts in the towns around the lake and a day of performances throughout Verbania, with workshops at Villa Giulia and guest choir performances in various city venues.

The 16th National Polyphonic Competition of Lake Maggiore saw choirs compete in categories of sacred music, secular music, and monographic programs at the Collegiata di San Leonardo, with the folk choir category and the traditional Gran Premio del Lago Maggiore closing the event. The festival was accompanied by the Archivi Corali exhibition dedicated to choral publishing and discography.
