LetterAltura 2025 — Changes. The challenges of transformation

The 19th edition of the Lago Maggiore LetterAltura Festival was held in Verbania from September 24 to 28, 2025, preceded by a preview on Sunday, September 21. The chosen theme, "Changes. The challenges of transformation", guided a program full of meetings with twenty-six authors, including Marco Belpoliti, Gianni Oliva, Laura Pariani, Stefano Ardito, Lucia Annibali, and the 2025 Strega Prize winner Andrea Bajani.

For the first time, the meetings took place at the new venue of Parco Besozzi Benioli in Verbania Intra, while exhibitions were hosted at the former Palazzo Pretorio in Piazza Ranzoni. The program, completed by about fifteen pre-festival events starting from August 20, combined book presentations, literary walks, performances, and films.
