Edition 2025 — Lago del Salto Ultra

The second edition of the Lago del Salto Ultra Marathon was held on Thursday, May 1st, 2025, in Borgo San Pietro, a hamlet of Petrella Salto in the province of Rieti. On that occasion, too, Rieti Marathon Italia had set up multiple courses along the lake loop, from the long distance for ultramarathoners to short races and a non-competitive walk, with refreshment and support points on all routes.

The 2025 edition

On May 1st, 2025, the Lago del Salto Ultra Marathon returned to Borgo San Pietro, a hamlet of Petrella Salto (RI), with the meeting point and start in the area of the Monastery of Santa Filippa Mareri and courses developed along the road that skirts Lago del Salto.

As in other editions, Rieti Marathon Italia featured multiple distances on the same day, involving both long-distance specialists and amateur runners and families, the latter through the non-competitive walk. The event was included in the Rieti running circuits and represented the intermediate step leading to the third edition in 2026, confirming the event's place in the Cicolano spring calendar.
