Laga Rural Villages Cultural Festival

The fourth edition in 2025 of the Laga Rural Villages Cultural Festival represented one of the most extensive seasons of the event, with dozens of events distributed over several months and a mosaic of villages and hamlets involved across Abruzzo, Marche, and Lazio.

The 2025 theme, focused on the reconnection between mountain areas and urban and coastal zones, highlighted the dialogue between inland territories and the rest of the region, valuing rural memory and development prospects for mountain communities. In the municipality of Torricella Sicura, in the province of Teramo, the festival enlivened the hamlets with guided hikes, readings, tastings of local products, and moments of storytelling about the intangible heritage of the Laga, confirming the project's vocation for enhancing the inland areas of the Apennines.
