Laga Rural Villages Cultural Festival

In 2025, the festival enlivened the villages of the municipality of Rocca Santa Maria with two days full of events dedicated to the rural memory of the Laga.

On August 2, in Paranesi and Ciarelli, a guided tour of the village with FederTrek guides opened the day, followed by the launch of a podcast in dialect and a meeting on "forgotten flavours" with Mayor Lino Di Giuseppe and Prof. Francesco Galiffa; in the evening, an aperitif with traditional dishes and a dialect theatre performance.

On August 6, in Macchia Santa Cecilia, a hike on the theme of historical mountain activities took place, with poetry readings by Francesco Casagrande and a cheesemaking workshop with tastings of local dairy products. The initiative was supported by BIM Teramo, the Tercas Foundation, the Province of Teramo, Slow Food, and FederTrek.
