Edition 2025 — Labro Festival

The 2025 edition of the Labro Festival, from August 28 to 31, marked the relaunch of the festival under the artistic direction of Jobel, at the initiative of the Municipality of Labro. Four days of theatre, music, meetings, and roaming performances in the medieval village in the province of Rieti, with concerts in the church, shows at the Torrione, a guitar masterclass, and a conference dedicated to the future of villages. All activities were free of charge.

Labro Festival 2025

From August 28 to 31, 2025, the Labro Festival returned to the Rieti village with a widespread format that involved the former Franciscan Convent, the Church of Santa Maria Maggiore, the Torrione, and the streets of the historic centre. The opening, on Thursday the 28th, was entrusted to the conference «The Future of Villages», accompanied by pianist and composer Paolo Di Sabatino and closed by an aperitif. On Friday the 29th, the harp concert by Brian Meloni Lebano preceded the theatrical show «Francesco — di ogni tempo liberi». On Saturday the 30th, roaming performances by Jobel artists crossed the village, before the blues concert by the Gloria Turrini trio with their new album «Across the Blues». On Sunday the 31st, the festival closed with a guitar masterclass by Giuseppe Scarpato and «Storie (d')amare e d'amore», with actress Giusi Cataldo. The festival then continued with three free winter events: Dickens' «A Christmas Carol» on December 28, 2025, the «In Dulci Jubilo» concert by the Alisea Ensemble at the Municipal Theatre on January 2, 2026, and the roaming performance «The Ice Court» on January 4, 2026.
