La Zinghenesta – Carnival of the Val del Biois

As every year, in 2025 La Zinghenesta celebrated the last Sunday of Carnival in the Val del Biois. The procession, which started from Falcade and was led by the Zinghenesta along with the Matiéi, the Lachè, and the comic masks, crossed the valley to Canale d'Agordo, where the festival concluded with an outdoor dance. A new chapter in a Dolomite tradition that the community has cherished for generations.

2025 edition: procession on the last Sunday of Carnival, starting from Piazza Municipio in Falcade, crossing Caviola and arriving in Canale d'Agordo, where the Zinghenesta was presented and the final outdoor dance was held.
