Edition 2025 — La Voce del Guardiano

The fourth edition of the "La Voce del Guardiano" Symposium was held in Montemagno (Camaiore, Lucca) on April 26 and 27, 2025, with ten Italian and international sculptors. Participants included Colombian artist Daniel Alvarado León and veterans Luca Simoni and Ivan Butelli. The works, created live with chainsaws from wood destined for waste, became part of the village's permanent exhibition route.

The 4th edition of the symposium brought ten sculptors to Montemagno, a hamlet of the Municipality of Camaiore, including Daniel Alvarado León (Bogotá, Colombia), Alfio Bichi, Andrea Mannucci, Eros Lazzaretti, Giovanni Barbera, Luigi Paolini, William Rossi, Marco Da Prato, and veterans Luca Simoni and Ivan Butelli.

For two days, the artists transformed large logs into works of art with chainsaws in front of the public. The 2025 edition, organized by the Wamdi Ista Team Association with the Village Committee and the patronage of the Municipality of Camaiore, confirmed Montemagno as the "village of wooden sculptures" of Versilia.
