La Via delle Cantine

The 19th edition of La Via delle Cantine took place on Saturday, July 26, 2025, in Rocca di Botte (AQ), confirming its status as one of the most beloved summer events in the Marsica region. The village transformed into a sensory journey of flavors, tastings, and conviviality, with rock-hewn cellars reopened for the occasion and local restaurateurs showcasing their culinary offerings.

At 5:00 PM, in the Town Hall, the symposium "Bollicine d'Abruzzo. Identity and pride in the glass" was held, featuring contributions from Francesco D'Agostino, wine critic Franco Santini, and Marco Signori, followed by a roundtable moderated by Pierluigi Palmieri with producers Domenico Pasetti and Fausto Zazzara. The debate focused on native Pecorino and Passerina grape varieties and the growth of Abruzzo sparkling wine. Regional councilor Emanuele Imprudente and council member Giampaolo Lugini also attended the event. After the symposium, the public wandered along the Via delle Cantine to taste sparkling wines, accompanied by roving music and stands from local producers.
