La Via del Sale MTB Granfondo

Over the weekend of 21-22 June 2025, Limone Piemonte hosted La Via del Sale, two days of sport and adrenaline between mountain biking and gravel. Saturday 21 June featured the youth MTB race for categories G1-G6 (meeting at 1:30 PM, start at 3:00 PM) and, in the evening, a concert by the Fingerlips in Piazza del Municipio. Sunday 22 June, the start was at 9:30 AM from Piazza San Sebastiano for the two competitive events: the 49 km granfondo with 1,800 m of elevation gain, highlighted by a spectacular 12 km final descent, and the 30 km mediofondo with 1,100 m of elevation gain. For the first time, the Via del Sale Gravel was introduced, a free, non-competitive event with a short route (18 km from Colle di Tenda) and a long one (30 km from Limone 1400). The event was part of the Prestigio MTB circuit and a stage of the Marathon Bike Cup.
