Edition 2025 — La Turba

The 2025 edition of La Turba of Cantiano took place on Friday, April 18, Good Friday, with the evening performance starting at 8:00 PM. Approximately 250 costumed participants re-enacted the Passion, Death, and Resurrection of Christ through the village streets. This edition celebrated the centenary of the first photograph of the Cantiano Passion, marked by a special installation in front of the Collegiate Church of San Giovanni Battista.

La Turba of Cantiano 2025

On April 18, 2025, Good Friday, La Turba, the sacred representation of the Passion of Christ, returned to Cantiano. The evening performance began at 8:00 PM, involving approximately 250 costumed participants, local artisans for the large wooden sets, and the entire community.

The centenary of the first photograph

The 2025 edition had a special significance: the celebration of the centenary of the first photograph of the Cantiano Passion, commemorated with a special installation placed in front of the Collegiate Church of San Giovanni Battista. The day was preceded, on Saturday, April 12, by the traditional Historical Procession.
