Edition 2025 — La Trebbiatura

The 2025 edition of La Trebbiatura took place over two days, Saturday, July 5 and Sunday, July 6, in Controguerra. The program combined round-table discussions on the memory of grain, exhibitions of agricultural tools, live double demonstrations of threshing with the mountain thresher, folk music concerts, traditional games, and tastings of the flavors of the Val Vibrata peasant civilization.

In 2025, La Trebbiatura in Controguerra was spread over two days, Saturday, July 5 and Sunday, July 6, with a rich program featuring historical re-enactments, music, games, and the flavors of peasant life.

Saturday began at 5:00 PM with the inauguration of the photography and agricultural tool exhibition in the historic center, followed at 6:00 PM by the round-table discussion "Grain and Memory" in Piazza Mazzini, accompanied by bread tastings. At 7:30 PM, the first threshing demonstration took place with the "mountain thresher" from the Maurizi Farm, and at 8:30 PM, the concert by the group TarantaQuattro in Piazza Garibaldi, paired with traditional recipes.

Sunday continued at 5:00 PM with traditional games in the multi-purpose square, at 7:00 PM with Holy Mass in the church of San Benedetto Abate followed by the blessing of the tractors, and at 8:00 PM with the second live threshing demonstration. The event was promoted by the Municipality of Controguerra in partnership with the Recreational and Cultural Center and the Museum of Peasant Civilization in Val Vibrata.
