Edition 2025 — La Tore Prize
The 21st edition of the La Tore Prize, on Saturday, August 23, 2025, honored writer Antonio Scurati for his novel "M. Son of the Century" (Bompiani), the first chapter of the pentalogy dedicated to Benito Mussolini, a bestseller and critical success. The jury's motivation highlighted the author's academic and scholarly career, as well as his non-fiction and narrative work.
The evening, in Piazza della Chiesa in Marciana Marina, began with an aperitif at the Arthotel Gabbiano Azzurro Due, where the public could meet Scurati and have books signed, before continuing at 9:45 PM in the square with the award ceremony. The award was created by singer-songwriter and painter Luca Carboni, who presented it on stage. The evening was moderated by Prof. Angelo Filippo Rampini of the University of Brescia.
