Edition 2025 — La Tore Prize

The 21st edition of the La Tore Literary Prize took place on Saturday, August 23, 2025, in Piazza della Chiesa in Marciana Marina. The prize was awarded to Antonio Scurati for his novel "M. Son of the Century" (Bompiani). The award, a work by singer-songwriter and painter Luca Carboni, was presented during an evening that combined literature and art under the stars of the Island of Elba.

The 21st edition of the La Tore Prize, on Saturday, August 23, 2025, honored writer Antonio Scurati for his novel "M. Son of the Century" (Bompiani), the first chapter of the pentalogy dedicated to Benito Mussolini, a bestseller and critical success. The jury's motivation highlighted the author's academic and scholarly career, as well as his non-fiction and narrative work.

The evening, in Piazza della Chiesa in Marciana Marina, began with an aperitif at the Arthotel Gabbiano Azzurro Due, where the public could meet Scurati and have books signed, before continuing at 9:45 PM in the square with the award ceremony. The award was created by singer-songwriter and painter Luca Carboni, who presented it on stage. The evening was moderated by Prof. Angelo Filippo Rampini of the University of Brescia.
