Edition 2025 — La Suzzeza ed Galira
In 2025, the first edition of La Suzzeza ed Galira took place, the barbecue festival conceived by Pro Loco Galliera to liven up the summer in San Venanzio, in the Municipality of Galliera (BO). The debut brought grilled meat, a food stand, and the convivial atmosphere of Emilian village festivals to Piazza Eroi della Libertà, laying the groundwork for an event destined to be repeated.
The first edition, in 2025
The 2025 edition marked the debut of La Suzzeza ed Galira, organized by Pro Loco Galliera in San Venanzio, a hamlet of the Municipality of Galliera, province of Bologna. In Piazza Eroi della Libertà, the festival offered barbecue, with ciccia alla griglia (grilled meat) served at the food stand, in a popular festive atmosphere. The positive reception of the debut led Pro Loco to propose the event again in 2026.
