Edition 2025 — La Scampagnata

The 4th edition of La Scampagnata took place on Thursday, May 1st, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, at the "Fonte Sant'Angelo" picnic area in Contrada San Giacomo, Scerni (CH), behind the church of San Giacomo Apostolo. The event, organized by the Pro Loco San Giacomo di Scerni, combined a morning hike with a communal lunch featuring local flavors.

La Scampagnata 2025

The fourth edition of La Scampagnata was held on Thursday, May 1st, 2025, at the "Fonte Sant'Angelo" picnic area in Contrada San Giacomo, Scerni, in the province of Chieti. Organized by the Pro Loco San Giacomo di Scerni, the day began at 9:00 AM with an optional, free two-hour hike of moderate difficulty, followed by a communal lunch served starting at 1:00 PM.

The menu featured pasta, ventricina, pecorino, fava beans, bread, and a glass of wine or a bottle of water, for a cost of 20 euros. Musical entertainment accompanied the entire day, which also included a "MotorDay" motorcycle ride open to everyone. The event concluded in the afternoon, confirming the success of a tradition now deeply felt by the San Giacomo community.
