La Scamiciata

The 2025 edition of La Scamiciata animated Fasano from June 12 to 14 as part of the Giugno Fasanese. On Thursday, June 12, the 'Waiting for the Festival' evening brought musical performances to the historical center. On Friday, June 13, the Festival of Italian Historical Pageants was held, featuring the enthronement of the sacred images of the patron saints and the symbolic handing over of the city keys to the participants. On Saturday, June 14, the grand historical pageant paraded through the city streets from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM, with ladies and knights in Baroque costumes, men-at-arms, and mounted Knights of Malta; in Piazza Ciaia, the sword and the city keys were handed over to the Patron Saints. Afterward, the International Folk Music Festival 'Ritmi e Suoni dal Mediterraneo' presented five performances on stage. All events were free and open to the public.
