Edition 2025 — La Polentata

In 2025, La Polentata in Riofreddo took place on March 29 in Piazzale Ricciotti Garibaldi, with food stands opening at 12:00 PM. In that edition as well, the Pro Loco Riofreddo offered a full menu for 17 euros featuring bruschetta, polenta with meat sauce, sausage in sauce, sheep arrosticini, chicory, bread, and water or wine, accompanying the lunch with music and festive moments for the whole village.

The 2025 edition

La Polentata 2025 confirmed the end-of-March appointment in Riofreddo, in the Metropolitan City of Rome Capital. The meeting place was once again Piazzale Ricciotti Garibaldi, in the upper part of the village, with stands opening at noon and service continuing into the afternoon.

The menu, essentially unchanged from previous years, focused on polenta with meat sauce along with grilled arrosticini and local traditional side dishes. The edition reaffirmed the event's role as the first major appointment of the year for Pro Loco Riofreddo, ahead of the spring Gnocchi Festival and the August Sagnozzi Festival.
