La Notte della Tarantella 2025
The 2025 edition of La Notte della Tarantella was held on Sunday, August 24, 2025, starting at 9:00 PM in Messina, as part of the E-state Messina 2025 program promoted by the Municipality. On stage, four Sicilian groups took turns, accompanying the audience through an evening of fast-paced and engaging rhythms: tarantellas, tambourine performances, dances, and traditional songs, performed with innovative arrangements balancing progressive folk and archaic sounds.
The event, organized by the I Cariddi g.s.c.d. association with the patronage of F.I.T.P. and the International Folklore Union, confirmed its commitment to rediscovering Sicily's musical roots. Admission to the evening was free, in an arena filled with folk music enthusiasts, families, and tourists.
