La Notte della Taranta 2025 in Torre Sant'Andrea
The 2025 stop of the Itinerant Festival took place on Sunday, August 10, 2025, starting at 8:30 PM, on the Torre Sant'Andrea seafront, in the marina of Melendugno. The evening opened with "The Dance School," a moment dedicated to teaching pizzica led by the Taranta dancers.
On stage, Emanuela Gabrieli performed with the project Chora-Trad & Gambling Band, which intertwined Salento singing with sounds of wind instruments, keyboards, and percussion, followed by La Niña with her Furèsta Tour, blending Neapolitan tradition with contemporary research. Admission was free, and the Municipality of Melendugno provided a free shuttle service to reach the marina.
