Edition 2025 — Notte della Taranta Martignano
The Martignano stop of La Notte della Taranta 2025 was held on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, in Piazza Palmieri, known as the most beautiful square in the Griko village, with free admission as part of the "Plurali"-themed Traveling Festival.
The evening opened at 8:30 PM with a guided tour of the village's tangible and intangible heritage, curated by the Open Social Cooperative of Parco Palmieri, before the live music began at 9:00 PM.
The stage featured Enzo Petrachi with his folk band and Consuelo Alfieri with the Siroco project, in a journey through traditional Salento music featuring the organetto, violin, frame drums, guitar, wind instruments, accordion, and dance. Son of the legendary Bruno Petrachi, the "king of Lecce folk," Enzo Petrachi brought the traditional repertoire to the square combined with contemporary sounds, closing the evening in the spirit of pizzica.
