Notte della Taranta 2025 in Corigliano d'Otranto

The Corigliano d'Otranto stage of the 2025 edition took place on Friday, August 1, at the Castello Volante, with free admission. The evening began at 7:00 PM with "The Dance School," a workshop with the Taranta dancers.

At 8:00 PM, Francesco D'Orazio (violin) and Laura La Vecchia (theorbo), together with the musicians of the Popular Orchestra, presented "From Corelli's Follia to Stìfani's Pizzica." Following this, in Piazza Vittoria, "The Song of Ulysses" with Lumenea and Ambrogio Sparagna, a tribute to Mikis Theodorakis. The evening continued with "Furore" by the Cracalia project, winner of the 2025 Ernesto De Martino Award, and "The Song of the Frontier" by Redi Hasa, Cesare dell'Anna, Ekland Hasa, and Irene Lungo, blending Balkan music and southern sounds.
