La Lachera 2025
The Carnival of Rocca Grimalda took place on Saturday, February 22, and Sunday, February 23, 2025.
Saturday, February 22: 4:00 PM, La Lachera begging rounds in the farmsteads with dances, food, and wine in the courtyards; 6:00 PM, children's begging rounds and piadinutella party; 8:00 PM, Carnival bonfire with dancing around the fire and distribution of zemin.
Sunday, February 23: From 3:00 PM, the La Lachera parade, featuring the children's Lachera, the Lucanian group L'Mash-Kr with its ritual masks, giant puppets, and the show "The Witches of Trionzo have returned" in Piazza Borgatta. In the Town Hall rooms, the "Collectible Venetian Masks" exhibition was held. The Mask Museum was open on both days.
