La Grande Invasione – Reading Festival

The year 2025 marked the debut of La Grande Invasione in Chieri, from May 30 to June 1, as part of the widespread reading festival edition that also touched Ivrea and Aosta. Curated by Marco Cassini and Gianmario Pilo, the first edition in Chieri was realized in collaboration with the Municipality of Chieri and offered meetings, readings, lectures, and exhibitions, all open to the public.

Among the big names of the 2025 widespread edition were authors such as Roberto Saviano, Paolo Rumiz, Teresa Ciabatti, Francesco Piccolo, and Giulia Caminito, along with several international guests. The Piccola Invasione brought nine events to Chieri with over forty classes involved, confirming the festival's vocation for dialogue between generations and the pleasure of reading.
