La Grande Invasione – Reading Festival

The year 2025 marked the thirteenth edition of La Grande Invasione in Ivrea, from May 30 to June 2, as part of the widespread reading festival that also reached Aosta and, for its debut, Chieri. Curated by Marco Cassini and Gianmario Pilo, the event offered over 150 appointments including meetings, themed lectures, readings, exhibitions, and workshops, interpreting the verb "to read" in all its forms: fiction and non-fiction, comics and journalism, illustration and theater, music and poetry.

Guests of the edition included great names of Italian culture, from Roberto Saviano to the cartoonist Gipi, along with numerous international authors and voices. La Piccola Invasione involved local schools in the province of Turin, confirming the festival's vocation for dialogue between generations and the pleasure of reading in the heart of Piedmont.
