Edition 2025 — La Grande Invasione
The second edition of La Grande Invasione in Aosta was held in late May 2025, continuing the path started the previous year in the capital of the Aosta Valley. In 2025 too, the festival, directed by Marco Cassini and Gianmario Pilo, brought Italian writers, journalists, and cultural voices to the city, with a programme of completely free events.
The events—book presentations, lectures, conversations, and musical interludes—took place in symbolic locations in the historic centre, from the theatre to historic halls, from bookshops to city libraries. The edition confirmed the festival's connection with the local public and with the Piedmontese circuit of Ivrea and Chieri, paving the way for the third edition in 2026.
