2025 Edition: Bread as the protagonist

The 8th edition of La Festa Contadina - Customs and Traditions was held from August 28 to 31, 2025 in the historic center of Santeramo in Colle, choosing bread as the central theme, explored through re-enactments, art, workshops, and tastings.

The program kicked off on Thursday, August 28 with the presentation conference and the "Bread-making Dance" show at the Palazzo Marchesale. Friday, August 29 featured guided tours of the Grotta di Sant'Angelo and an AIS Puglia masterclass on the grape varieties of the Bourbon Kingdom. Saturday, August 30, the historic center hosted Campagna Amica - Coldiretti stalls, the "Land of Ancient Ovens" exhibition, the vintage carriage parade from the Ciacciulli stables, and a concert by Gaia Gentile in Piazza Garibaldi. The event concluded on Sunday with the "Discesa dei Marchesi", the historical pageant in Bourbon costumes. The event was organized by the Pro Loco "G. Tritto" UNPLI with the patronage of the Municipality, the Puglia Region, the GAL Terre di Murgia, and the Alta Murgia National Park.
