Edition 2025 — Welcome Home

The third grand Welcome Home festival took place from April 24th to 27th, 2025, at La Contea Gentile in Bucchianico. Four days among hobbits, dwarves, Riders of Rohan, Nazgûl, wizards, elves, and orcs of Middle-earth, featuring music, dancing, shows, markets, fine food, mead, and beer. Organizers welcomed approximately one thousand visitors per day.

The 2025 edition of Welcome Home was held from April 24th to 27th, spanning four days at La Contea Gentile in Bucchianico, Abruzzo. The fantasy village was populated by hobbits, dwarves, Riders of Rohan, Nazgûl, wizards, elves, and orcs, for a gathering that organizers estimated at approximately one thousand attendees per day.

The event, led by Nicolas Gentile, offered music, dancing, shows, markets, food stalls, mead, and beer, spreading the cordial and convivial atmosphere typical of the Shire among the participants. Parking areas for cars and campers were available, reflecting the influx of visitors arriving from all over Italy.
