The 28th edition: «La Cantata dei Pastori»

On December 26, 2025, the historic center of Giulianova hosted the twenty-eighth edition of the Neapolitan Living Nativity, titled «La Cantata dei Pastori», in homage to the famous work that is at the origin of the Neapolitan nativity scene.

The opening procession started at 5:30 PM from Piazza Buozzi. Following this, the public was guided through the route with twelve staggered entries, one every 20 minutes, from 6:00 PM until late evening. Actors, extras, singers, and musicians brought the 18th-century Baroque Naples to life, blending the sacred and the popular. Admission cost 4 euros (free for children up to 10 years old), with presale on the Ciaotickets platform, under the patronage of the Municipality of Giulianova and the Province of Teramo.

• 5:30 PM — Opening procession in Piazza Buozzi
• 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM approx. — 12 staggered entries, one every 20 minutes, along the route in the historic center

The performance featured the folk and Baroque sets of 18th-century Naples, with actors, extras, singers, and musicians. In case of bad weather, the event was scheduled to be recovered on Sunday, December 28, 2025.
