Edition 2025 — L'Altopiano dei Pastori

The 2025 edition of L'Altopiano dei Pastori took place from June 13 to 15 at Malga Col del Vento, in Cesuna di Roana. Three days dedicated to alpine wool, transhumance, and the Foza sheep, with sheep flock visits, felt and spinning workshops, shearing, a wool market, excursions, and Cimbrian dinners.

L'Altopiano dei Pastori 2025 animated Malga Col del Vento, in Cesuna di Roana, from June 13 to 15. The festival celebrated the Foza sheep and the work of the mountain pasture farmers of the Asiago Plateau with sheep flock visits, felt, spinning, and weaving workshops, shearing demonstrations, and a wool market with artisanal products.

Among excursions along pastoral trails, a photographic exhibition by Gigi Abriani, and Cimbrian dinners featuring Foza lamb, the edition also hosted the public conference "WoolShed" on the new era of alpine wool, as part of the European Interreg Alpine Space project, with a presentation by Dr. Gian Battista Rigoni Stern on the breed's cultural value.
