Edition 2025 — Krìes di Mersino
On January 5, 2025, the traditional Krìes was lit in Mersino di Pulfero, the Epiphany bonfire of the Natisone Valleys, with the dances of the Pustje, the burning of Befana, and the Pro Loco's food and wine stand, opening the valley's Carnival.
In 2025, the Krìes di Mersino renewed the ancient rite of the Epiphany bonfire. On the evening of January 5th, the Pustje masks opened Carnival with folk dances, followed by the lighting of the great bonfire with the arrival of Befana; accordions and the Pro Loco Mersino stand warmed the winter night, in one of the most cherished traditions of the Natisone Valleys.
