Klausner Kirchtag 2025

On July 12th, 2025, the small hamlet of Klaus, south of Terlano, celebrated the patronal feast of St. Margaret. As every year, the inhabitants gathered around the ruins of the Margarethenkirche, the small late-Gothic church now preserved only as a ruin, for the religious service celebrated on the patronal day.

The celebration, for the living and the deceased of the hamlet, was followed by convivial community festivities, in the spirit of the hospitality typical of South Tyrolean Kirchtags. The event confirmed the vitality of a tradition deeply rooted in the Municipality of Terlano, in the province of Bolzano.
