62nd edition: "Let your imagination fly"

The 62nd Kite Festival took place on Sunday, May 18, 2025, in Polignano a Mare, for the first time in the picturesque Piazza Suor Maria Laselva, overlooking the sea. The theme of the year, "Let your imagination fly", invited young participants to express their dreams and desires through the shapes and colors of their kites.

Starting at 3:00 PM, the square filled with handmade kites. A committee awarded prizes for the most beautiful kite, the one best adhering to the theme, the highest-flying (the "Davide Zaccagni" award), and the most creative. The day was enriched by a construction workshop in the morning at the Pino Pascali Foundation and by the performance of the Sbandieratori della Brancaleone of Barletta. Organized by the Pro Loco "F. F. Favale" with the patronage of the Municipality of Polignano a Mare and the Apulia Region.
