2025 Kite Festival

The 2025 edition took place on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at the Tancia Hostel House, in the Osteria Tancia area of Monte San Giovanni in Sabina (Rieti province), with a meeting at 11:00 AM. The event was part of the Autumn in Sabina program promoted by Sabina Parco Slow, which between September 13 and November 16, 2025, brought together thirteen events including excursions, workshops, and tastings in the Sabina villages.

The day opened with a creative workshop led by the Alivola team: paper and wood kits, with a booklet and two kite designs, the Sled and Diamond models, at a cost of 7 euros. This was followed by a mini-course on acrobatic kite flying, offered at 5 euros per person, while the sky above Monte Tancia filled with static flights and acrobatic figures.

At midday, a convivial lunch was held, with a set menu at 25 euros per person including cured meats, cheeses, a first course, dessert, coffee, and water. As with all events in the series, participation was by reservation.
