Kirchtag in St. Magdalena (St. Magdalena Patronal Festival)

In 2025, the Kirchtag in St. Magdalena took place on Sunday, July 20, in the picturesque village of Santa Maddalena in Funes/Villnöß. As is tradition, the day began at 9:30 AM with a solemn Mass and procession at the church of St. Magdalena, one of the iconic landmarks of the South Tyrolean Dolomites. The celebrations were followed by a concert from the Musikkapelle Villnöß and a convivial moment with traditional food and drinks, with proceeds supporting the Pfarrcaritas of the Funes parish. The 2025 edition once again confirmed the authentic and communal character of this patronal festival, which is deeply cherished by the valley's residents.
