Edition 2025 — Kirchtag Oberwielenbach

In 2025, the village of Vila di Sopra (Oberwielenbach), in the municipality of Perca, celebrated its summer Kirchtag. The traditional festival, organized by the Volunteer Fire Department of Oberwielenbach, brought the community together around the parish church of San Nicolò and the civic center square, featuring a religious service, music, dancing, and genuine South Tyrolean cuisine.

The Kirchtag in Oberwielenbach is a staple of the summer in Vila di Sopra, the largest village in the municipality of Perca in the Puster Valley. As every year, the 2025 summer edition saw the Volunteer Fire Department animate the festival with entertainment, live music, and catering, following the traditional format that includes the Sunday religious service in the parish church of San Nicolò followed by celebrations at the civic center square. A weekend of conviviality that, in the heart of South Tyrol, renews the bond between the community, its church, and its folk traditions.
