Kirchtag in Niederlana – Assumption Day

The 2025 edition of the Kirchtag in Niederlana was held on Friday, August 15, 2025, on the Feast of the Assumption. As per tradition, the day began with a procession departing in the morning from the Pfarrkirche Niederlana along the Schnatterpeckstraße, followed by the popular festival organized by the Bauernjugend Lana, featuring South Tyrolean gastronomic specialties and music from local bands. The event, which offered free admission, reaffirmed the strong bond between the Lana community, its parish church, and the celebration of the Assumption.
